On November 28, 2020, the Intercultural Communication Studies program of Shanghai Theatre Academy was invited by the 13th Shanghai Biennale to join its second phase, An Ecosystem of Alliances. In response to the Biennale’s theme “Bodies of Water,” we curated a performance event, Stories in the Flow, at thePower Station of Art museum in Shanghai. The Chinese and international young artists exhibited their creativity and sincere self-excavation. With the flows of these stories being told and listened to, we hope to bring to the audience more widened perspectives and diverse empathetic experiences, as we ponder and imagine forms of fluid solidarity that “Bodies of Water” evoke.
